Clear Claim Connection Upgrade to Version 4.0

Beginning at 8:00pm on Friday, October 9, 2009, Clear Claim Connection will be temporarily unavailable to allow the system to be upgraded from version 3.0 to 4.0. At 1:00pm on Saturday, October 10, the system will be available for use with several cosmetic changes.

These updates include the following:
Additions
  • Date and time stamp
  • Environment ID
  • Recommendation Action column on the Clinical Edit Clarification screen

Deletions
  • The inquiry and therefore statements on the Clinical Edit Clarification screen

Changes
  • The Date of Service column moved to the second position after procedure on the Claims Entry screen
  • The Recommend Action column on the Claims Audit Results screen moved to the first position

The inquiry and therefore statements have been removed. The following was added: a date and time stamp, the environment ID stamp, and the Recommendation Action column.

Clear Claim Connection is a web-based code auditing reference tool designed to mirror how ClaimCheck audits professional claims. The Company uses Clear Claim Connection to disclose the claim auditing rules and clinical rationales embedded in the ClaimCheck tool.
