AmeriHealth is now publishing the Version Effective Dates on all Medical and Claim Payment Policies. By posting these dates as part of the policy, the Company is promoting transparency to its customers by ensuring there is no ambiguity about the date the current version of a policy went into effect.

The Version Effective Date is the enforcement date of the most current version of the policy. However, the Version Effective Date is not necessarily the date the policy topic was initially disclosed; the Version Effective Date will change as the policy is updated.

Most policies you see on our Web site are in the Policy Bulletin section, which details current, active policies. Policies viewed in the Policy Notifications section of the Web site are published with future Version Effective Dates. These policies have yet to become effective; however, it is our intent to notify our customers of policy changes that will be enforced in the near future.
